Auden Smoke Writing, Selected Pages, 2009

I recently had the great pleasure of working with Sue Gosin, founder & Co-Chair of Dieu Donne Press and New York based visual artist Abby Leigh. They were developing a book of Abby's recent images and wanted the images to be paired with lines from an Auden poem. They were looking for a smoke-like quality to the lines, and the above images are samples of how the effect took shape.
